Welcome to the 2019 Special Needs Hockey Registration!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available.  Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from SASA Merchants .

 

SASA proudly welcomes a new Special Hockey program. The first such USA Hockey program in Vermont!

The mission is to enrich the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through increasing players’ personal development and self-confidence on and off the ice by:

  • Having Fun
  • Learning Team Work
  • Building Friendships
  • Increased Physical Activity

The athletes’ journey begins with our Learn to Skate program where we teach the very basics needed. They can then progress to several different tracks including special hockey or youth hockey. Our policy of inclusion allows anyone to try something they may have never thought possible.

All players must also register with USA Hockey at https://www.usahockeyregistration.com/login_input.action.  For players 6 and under there is no fee.

Birth Certificate

SASA needs a copy of your child’s birth certificate.  If you provided this last year, you are all set.  Just skip this part.  If you need to give us a copy of the birth certificate, you could take a picture or scan of the birth certificate and send to sasaregistrar@yahoo.com.

USA Hockey Requirement

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2019-2020 Season.

  • Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
  • Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
